“Full of inspirational guidance from 100+ athletes! So many great nuggets of knowledge that can apply to all facets of your life - career, family, challenges, growth...Definitely a must read for anyone who wants to take their life to the next level and succeed, whether you only played childhood/high school sports all the way up to the most elite athletes. I LOVE the resources - apps, books, podcasts, videos - that the athletes recommend! Have already utilized some of the resources! Way to go, Phil & Rob! This book is a game changer for anyone that is looking to succeed in life & “win the day”!”
“The authors have written a book that will be the cornerstone for transition. The authors give you enough information about transition and hope. I have read about and know several athletes who have struggled with transition. Every major sporting league should buy this book and give it to current and former players. I even think this book would benefit kids in high school. Rob Curley and Phil Costa have written the perfect book for athletes by athletes! I recommend it to everyone!”
“Bought this book from Barnes & Noble before I left for a trip. Such a quick read on the plane! I like the format, short inspirational stories from former athletes who have been through the transition from sports life to the working world. So many great takeaways, especially enjoyed the excerpts from interviews with Olympians like Summer Sanders. Highly recommend!”
“The transition from a life focused on athletics, quite simply, is hard. Rob and Phil did a great job of capturing various perspectives on how to deal with transition, from athletes from a variety of sports and levels of achievement. It's an easy pick-up-put-down book that athletes and even non-athletes can benefit from.”
“Brilliant! This is a sorely overlooked part of the athletes life. Thank you for pioneering such a needed dialogue.”
